The weekend will begin at Jonna & Brad's home for a Friday evening social from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A light dinner with small sandwiches, veggie tray, tea & soft drinks will be provided. BYO your favorite adult beverage if you like. Directions to J&B's will be emailed to participants before the event.

- Meet on the main square in Boerne at 8:30 am to depart at 9:00 am. There are public restrooms there, and it's also close to a couple of the quaint hotels.

- Lunch on Saturday will be at the Laurel Tree in Utopia, a French gourmet restaurant where we will be served a delightful four course Le Cordon Bleu meal. Lunch includes an appetizer, soup, choice of two main courses, dessert, iced tea, or coffee. The cost is $28 per person (tax and tip included). The LT accepts cash (preferred), checks or credit cards.
The property is an interesting Provence-Style building, which has a beautiful garden, with an herb garden, and enormous oaks. It also has a large parking area. This is one of the special highlights that gives this weekend its name.
After lunch we'll head back to Boerne so that you can have some time for R&R, or to stroll Boerne’s quaint Hauptstrasse for a little shopping.
Dinner Saturday evening will be a casual mill-around event at Soda Pops & the Sugar Shack. Located at the corner of Main Street & E. San Antonio Ave. across from the main square, Soda Pops is a burger & sandwich shop that is a retro 50s style place. Enjoy yummy burgers, delicious sides (tdf sweet potato fries), salads, shakes, malts, beer & wine. They are famous for hosting monthly Hot Rod nights & Bike nights.
Next door is the Sugar Shack, a 50s style soda fountain specializing in decadent homemade ice cream sandwiches, delicious banana splits, hand dipped Blue Bell ice cream, retro bottled sodas, savory coffee bar, and homemade cookies!
We'll have a small space reserved in the back of the Sugar Shack in case we need it, but the plan is for parking together & milling about outside. Bring your folding chairs so we can hang & create our own little street party!
