Time: 10:00am to 5:00 pm
Price: $8 for adults and $5 for kids to cover meal only. Other expenses such as train ride, mini-golf, etc. will be additional.
Lunch: Will be served at 12:00 noon!! Catered by Granzin's BBQ. Two meat plates with Brisket and Sausage with three sides, beans, potato salad and Cole Slaw…..tea and water will also be provided.
Dessert: Desserts will be pot luck. Bring desserts if you want to eat desserts. Also, if the dessert is home made, please bring the recipe for the dessert you bring for exchange.
Picnic Rules:
- Pets have to be on leashes at all times
- Glass beverage containers are prohibited
Things to Bring:
- Chairs, blankets, etc. for your comfort
- Water sports equipment if desired
Amenities:
- There are 10 picnic tables for our area.
- There is a kiddy swimming area VERY CLOSE to our reserved area
- It is a very short walk to the train that takes people through the park
- Swimming for adults is close by as well.
- Nature trails, mini-golf, and horseshoes are also available
From the San Antonio area:
- Take IH 35 North, towards Austin.
- Exit at Exit #187 and turn left at the light. You will be on Seguin Avenue.
- Follow Seguin Avenue to Main Plaza (traffic circle) in downtown New Braunfels.
- Go half-way around the traffic circle and exit (right) back onto Seguin Avenue by the Courthouse.
- Immediately get into the left lane.
- At the second traffic light, turn right on Landa Park Drive at the entrance to Landa Park.
From the Austin area:
- Take IH 35 South, towards San Antonio.
- Exit at Exit #189 and turn right on HWY 46/Loop 337.
- Follow Loop 337 to California Street (several miles).
- Turn left onto California Street (a residential area).
- California Street becomes Landa Park Drive and brings you into the middle of the park.
