Dick's Classic Car Museum In San Marcos
- Brand new facility with 60+ gorgeous classics from 1929 to present day.
- Get directions
- Owner is welcoming us by opening at 9:00am instead of 10:00.
- Once members enter, they will pay a reduced rate from $12, only $8 for seniors, $10 for others.
- Our base will be a spacious meeting room with complimentary coffee, tea and donuts.
- Owner will also give us a tour of their off-limits back room with 20+ cars being prepared for showing. They also have an interesting retail memorabilia shop.
- We can hold a drivers meeting in the room and depart at 10:30.

Automania. New Braunfels
- This is a freebie.
- They have 35-45 classic cars on display plus auto memorabilia.
- They also will provide a tour of several cars in the garage being restored, some from ground up.
- Other than using their restroom facilities, the owner volunteered to provide us with bottles of water and soft drinks.
- Then scenic ride #2.
Coopers Old Time Bbq New Braunfels
- New restaurant that originated in Llano.
- Spacious with very large parking lot, picnic tables inside and we will use a party room at no charge.
- To simplify food service, the manager will be creating a picnic style buffet. For only $12.00 it will include brisket, sausage and chicken entrees plus potato salad, cole slaw, beans, bread, extra fixin's and soft drinks. Beer and cobbler extra cost.
- The manager will also be giving us a $25 gift certificate as door prize.
- We will collect at the beginning of the event, so please bring cash.
Extra Shopping Browsing Bonus In Gruene
At the conclusion of the lunch, Mike & Jean are heading over to the Gruene historic district for some browsing. Anyone interested could follow them via a short cut of only ten minutes. Once we are there, everyone is on their own. Gruene Hall has some free entertainment on Saturday afternoons and some new shops have opened recently.
