Meet at Fuschak's BBQ parking lot in San Marcos (get directions) at 11:30am to leave by 12:00 noon. The drive to the museum will take approximately 3 hours. Please eat a light lunch before this drive and make sure your tank is full of gas before leaving to the museum. We will not be stopping for lunch or gas.
Our tour of the Sterling McCall Car Museum starts at 3pm. Admission is $3 per person - pay at site for entry. The museum closes at 5pm.
Dine at Klump's Restaurant in Round Top @ 5:30pm. The restaurant is basic American country food, hamburgers, steaks, chicken, etc. Order off the menu and due to the number of persons, please leave a 15% gratuity when paying. It will NOT be calculated into the bill.
Shakespeare at Winedale, the play starts at 7:30pm at the Winedale Historical Center. It is "Measure for Measure". Tickets are $10 per person. The tickets have been reserved and purchased by the Tejas Chapter so please submit your payment to Sandy McConnell at the start of the event. The performance will take place in the un-airconditioned barn. Highly suggest people bring seat cushions to make their stay more comfortable.
